I was naked singing Flosshilde in Das Rhinegold, in a small amateur production in a Newport warehouse. Alberich and both other Rhinemaidens were naked too. It took some courage!October 2023
I don't like that 'empty, saggy tits' tag. You should not insult Maria Ewing. She had a lovely body and was in very good shape.It is a huge part to sing. She is fantastic in it. I do not know any other singer capable of singing this part who could also dance so beautifully––though Catherine Malfitano also gave it a good try.
